This Week...

Has already started to get pretty nasty.
 
I thought every thing was going well, when I received correspondence from Purest Sparkle this morning, alerting me that my entry into the Summer contest had been received, and that I was in the running for one of the prizes and to wish me luck. I am told that the winners will be contacted just before school ends.

Well that part was great, but would things go as smoothly as I planned? Oh no...

All I wanted was advice from my big brother about which electives I should take for next term, and I got my head chewed off, for nothing. Its ok. I only approached Percy, because he was the hardest working student I know, and I valued his opinion. But I guess his opinion is not needed. I have turned in my selections for electives for next term and they include the following:

Ancient Runes
Arithmancy
Dark Arts

I am looking forward to next year already.

I am also looking forward to my exam marks as well. I started revising early, and I am sure I will do well.
I hope every one is doing well, in spite of last week. I know this time for all of us is hard, especiallty for those in Hufflepuff. I have tried to keep quiet about it, but I want to let you all know that I know she will be missed.

I look forward for the summer hols to begin, so that we may all move forward, and have a bit of happiness.

Oh, the contest. Almost forg Good to know that they found your submission acceptable.

Arithmancy is a real challenge, and that paired with Runes and Dark Arts will be a lot of work, but looks impressive in the long run if you can manage to get reasonably good marks. I've enjoyed Creatures - mostly - but have some regrets about missing out on Runes. Thinking of asking my Uncle for a few of his books on Runes to read over the summer.
